UNANIME Vocal Ensemble


The Unanime vocal group was created in 2012. The octet consists mainly of students and graduates of Rzeszów universities. The aim of the group is to discover and cherish choral traditions from all over the world, to deepen the knowledge and to develop choral techniques which are necessary to perform a diversified choral repertoire in the best possible way.
The Unanime vocal group takes an active part in concerts both in Poland and abroad, and they win recognition of not only the audience but of critics as well. Their repertoire includes sacral pieces from the Renaissance to the modern times but also lights music. However, it specialises in modern music. It is willing to cooperate with composers.
The group has participated in many international music festivals, concerts and artistic projects, cooperating with cultural institutions throughout Poland and the world. They won numerous awards and climbed podiums many times.
The octet gave concerts in the following countries: the Czech Republic (Prague) 2012, Slovakia 2013 (Žilina) and (University of Prešov) 2019, Germany (2014), Switzerland 2015 (Bern, Lucerne, Marly and at the height of 2469 m above sea level at the St. Bernard Pass), Austria 2016 (Linz, Melk), Lviv (2017,2019) and Hungary (Budapest) 2019.
In 2014 the octet recorded an a cappella album entitled "Pomódlmy się w noc Betlejemską" consisting of works of contemporary composers and in 2018 they released an album entitled "Polska 100" containing contemporary versions of patriotic and folk songs.
The group gladly works with choirs from all over the world. Presently, they cooperate with groups from England, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Italy and Hungary.
The artistic director, founder and conductor of the group is Anna Marek -Kamińska.

Der A-capella-Chor Unanime entstand im Jahr 2011 auf Initiative von Anna Marek- Kaminska. Ziel dieses Ensembles ist die Wiederentdeckung und Begegnung mit der Chortradition der ganzen Welt, die Vertiefung des Wissens und die Entwicklung der Vokaltechnik, die unverzichtbar ist für die beste Interpretation des vielseitigen Chorre-pertoires. Das Ensemble Unanime nimmt regen Anteil an Konzerten in Rzeszów und der Umgebung der Niederen Karpaten, und erfreut sich großer Anerkennung nicht nur der Zuhörer, sondern auch des Wohlwollens der Kritiker. In seinem Repertoire stehen vorwiegend Werke mit sakralen Themen von der Renaissance bis hin zur modernen Musik und Negro-Spirituels, doch auch Unterhaltungsmusik.

Das Ensemble wurde als Reaktion auf das Anliegen gegründet, ein Kammerensemble aufzubauen, welches bisher in Rzezszów noch nicht existiert hat. Die Schaffung eines so kleinen Teams auf höchstem Niveau ist eine enorme Herausforderung, doch die allseitige positive Kritik vermittelt ungewöhnliche Zufriedenheit.
Das Ensemble beteiligt sich oft an Chorfestivals, und ist um möglichst gute Interpretation der im Programm enthaltenen Werke bemüht. Auf seinem Konto stehen: der III. Platz beim Internationalen Festival für religiöse Lieder unter dem Motto „Cantate Deo“ in Rzeszów im Jahr 2012; der II. Platz beim III. Nationalen Festival für Chormusik „Sacra Ecclesiae Cantio” in Tarnów im September 2012.; das Goldene Band beim XXII. Internationalen Festival für Advent- und Weihnachtslieder in Prag (CZ) im Dezember 2012; die Silberne Saite beim Chorwettbewerb von Małopolska um die „Goldenen Saite“ in Niepołomice im April 2013, sowie das Bronzene Diplom beim IX. Internationalen Festival der Chöre „Gaudete Cantem“ in Bielsko-Biała im Oktober 2013. Der Chor trat schließlich für Polen bei Internationalen Festivals der Chöre in Paris und Barcelona auf. Das Ensemble nahm weiters am Internationa-len Musik-Festival der Chöre in Żylin in der Slowakei teil. Im Dezember 2014 wurde auch die Platte „Pomódlmy się w noc Betlejemską“ [Beten wir in der Nacht von Bethlehem] aufgenommen, welche aufgrund von modernen Bearbeitungen des Themas Weihnacht entstand.
